Tom Verheijen (1972) works as a lighting designer for projects in theaters, museums, visual arts and architecture.
Since graduating from the Amsterdam School of the Arts in 1995, he has worked with many theater makers, designers and artists for various projects, companies and institutes. He has been partner and co-owner at lighting design and show control agency Rapenburg Plaza for years and works as an independent lighting designer again since 2018. Recent projects have been completed for the Naturalis Biodiversity Center, Project Wildeman, Tropenmuseum Amsterdam, Kunsthal Kade Amersfoort, and Jens van Daele's Burning Bridges.
